Kelvin Grove Community Association (KGCA) is your local voice. We’re here to represent
residents, support local initiatives and foster a strong, inclusive community in one of our
city’s fastest-growing suburbs.
Our roots go deep, starting with the Kelvin Grove Social Hall Society in 1901, evolving
through decades of community engagement and advocacy. Today, we continue that
legacy by working with residents, council, and community groups to ensure Kelvin Grove
remains a safe, vibrant and welcoming place to live.

Kelvin Grove Community Centre
ADMINISTERED BY KELVIN GROVE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
A multipurpose, wheelchair-friendly facility adjacent to Kaimanawa Reserve,
extensively renovated in 2023. We have a car park for 20 vehicles, with direct
access into the main hall,and plenty of on-street parking.
The centre comprises various spaces which can be hired by the public and is
suitable for large events or small meetings.
